We are so prepared for the holidays now, thanks to Value Village's 50% off All Hideous Grandma Clothing Sale. I actually felt guilty rummaging through the racks of clothing for my sweater treasure. I mean, people don't shop here because they want to, do they? They shop here because they need to.So my selfish motives for buying a $3 Grandma sweater--to poke fun and to win the title of this year's Ugly Christmas Sweater Champion-- meant there was one less warm sweater for a poor Grandma who actually needed it.
I will toast to that Grandma when I claim my title, for sure.
